Come Spend Some Time with Us!
There are two ways to get from San José to our place.
First is the "Old Road" which passes through the
Poás Volcano area and the waterfalls.
This road was built during the Second World War,
to penetrate the jungle for the purpose of harvesting
the Quina or Quinine plant for the treatment of malaria.
We are half a kilometer west of town on the road to La Virgen.
The second road is via the highway which leads to the Caribbean coast.
This is a faster way to get to the Saraqiquí through the
Braulio Carrillo National Park, and takes approximately an hour
and a half to get to our place.
You turn off the road to the Caribbean near Guápiles and
head for Sarapiquí. We're 800 meters west of town in "Barrio El Jardin".

Or, if you arrange one of our guided tours,
we can pick you up at your San José hotel,
or direct from the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
By bus: If you are coming by bus from San José, head over to the Gran Terminal de Caribe,
where you can find a bus to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. Watch out you don't get on the bus for Puerto Viejo de Talamanca,
which leaves from the same terminal. Make sure your destination is Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. When you reach Puerto
Viejo, you can even walk the 800 meters west to"Barrio El Jardin". Here are some
